Hon Shing Ho, Joshua 韓承灝

In my view, the city (Hong Kong) is full of depression. Self-assurance, trust and taking responsibility has faded and because of loneliness, people yearn for more love.

In my artwork, as I examine the incompleteness of the modern human condition and the struggle against desire and disappointment, strong and broken lines and various pressure levels of drawing create different shades of grey. The ambiguous, uncertain and tattered lines reflect my many pessimistic emotions, all of which are unstable.
