Kam-shing CHAN 陳錦成

Kam-Shing CHAN completed his art training in ceramics, sculpture, graphic design and silk screen printing at the former Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 1974 to 1983. Mr. Chan is the founder of the i-Kiln studio (established in 1996), he aspires to bond the local and international artists, to provide a well equipped environment for practising ceramics, and to promote the education of arts.

Mr. Chan has participated in numerous exhibitions in the past thirty years. He has been awarded the Hong Kong Arts Development Award by Hong Kong Arts Development Council. His artworks are collected by Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and reputable institutions in mainland China and worldwide.

香港藝術家陳錦成,1974至1983年期間修畢前香港理工學院舉辦的平面設計、立體設計、陶藝及絲網版畫課程。陳氏於1996年成立自得窰工作室,取其自得其樂,悠然自得的意思,旨在能聚集一班藝術愛好者一同交流和分享,並肩負推廣藝術教育的任務。

過去三十年曾參與多個展覽,2000年更獲香港藝術發展局頒發視藝發展獎。作品為香港文化博物館、香港藝術館、香港中文大學、國內及海外藝術機構收藏。
