The history of Automaton dates back to the 17th Century in Europe. It is a creative approach to transform force powers into imaginations and stories.
This course aims at promoting the automaton craft heritage, passing down the traditional woodworking techniques and developing visual language expression. The course starts with the introduction of what automaton is and the recognition of different gear sets. Participants will learn how to use woodworking tools and relevant techniques.
At the end, each participant will be able to articulate his/her own creation and bring home a self-created unique Music Box.
