Daily Receipt Drawing
In the memory of his late father, Scott began to draw on a receipt every day as an expression of documentation. Keeping a daily journal and consumption has become a ritual and through the series, he further questions the idea of consumerism and materialism.
Up to the end of 2017, he has created 1825 pieces of receipt. The artist presented his first solo online exhibition “01012013-31122013”, displaying 365 pieces of receipt drawing executed in 2013 and answered instant questions asked by audiences all over the world through the internet. Daily Receipt Drawing is now an ongoing series.
